Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your driver-guide will warmly welcome you and begin your journey to Kibale Forest National Park. Along the way, you’ll stop for lunch in Fort Portal. Upon arrival at the park, you’ll check in at Kibale Forest Camp, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night.

After breakfast, you’ll head to Kibale National Park Headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking. You’ll be divided into small groups of six, each led by a guide who will take you into the forest to track one of the chimpanzee families. Chimpanzees live in communities ranging from 50 to 250 members, often splitting into smaller groups during the day to reduce food competition before reuniting in the evening to build their nests. Once you locate the chimps, you’ll have one hour to observe and interact with them before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a guided wetland walk in the nearby Bigodi Village, where you can spot other primates and numerous bird species. Afterward, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Kibale Forest Camp.

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive will take you through Queen Elizabeth National Park, offering a chance to spot some wildlife as you pass through the savannah-dominated landscape. You'll have a brief stop at the Kikorongo Equator for a break and photo opportunities before continuing to Kabale town for lunch. Afterward, you’ll proceed to Bwindi, where you will check in at Bweza Gorilla Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to the Park Headquarters, where you'll join others for a briefing before embarking on your gorilla trek. With your packed lunch in hand, you'll venture into the forest in search of a mountain gorilla family. The trek can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on the gorillas' location that day. Once you locate them, you'll have the rare opportunity to spend one hour observing their behavior and taking photographs. Afterward, you'll return to the Park Headquarters to receive a certificate acknowledging your participation in gorilla tracking. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Bweza Gorilla Lodge.

After breakfast, you will begin your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe with an enroute lunch on the way. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your preferred location or at Entebbe International Airport for your international departure flight.
