Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your driver-guide will warmly welcome you and escort you to your selected accommodation. Relax and enjoy dinner, followed by an overnight stay at Cassia Lodge.
After breakfast at your hotel, your driver-guide will pick you up and begin the journey northwest to Uganda's Nakasongola District. After a three-hour drive, you'll reach Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to Uganda’s only wild rhino population. Enjoy an unforgettable experience observing these magnificent animals before continuing your trip. Following a lunch stop in Masindi Town, you'll enter Murchison Falls National Park. Keep an eye out for unique wildlife species as you drive through the park. In the evening, enjoy a game drive to spot more wildlife before checking in at Ikromo Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Start your day with an early morning breakfast before heading out for a game drive. During the drive, you can expect to see Cape buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, oribis, topis, warthogs, giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, and waterbucks. If you start early, you may also spot nocturnal species like lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas returning from their nighttime hunts. After 3-4 hours exploring the park, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way, you’ll likely see herds of elephants, Uganda kobs, and buffaloes on the riverbanks, while Nile crocodiles and hippos bask in the shallow waters. Birdwatchers will also be delighted by sightings of pied kingfishers, African fish eagles, malachite kingfishers, and possibly even the rare shoebill. After this fascinating experience, return to Ikromo Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and head to the top of Murchison Falls, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the powerful waterfalls. Following this, exit the park and enjoy a lunch en route as you travel towards Kibale Forest National Park. The drive takes you through the stunning landscapes of the Albertine Rift Valley Escarpments and picturesque countryside. Arrive at Kibale Forest National Park in the evening, where you'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Kibale Forest Camp.
Start your day with a delightful continental breakfast before heading to the Park Headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzees. Afterward, venture into the dense forest to begin your search for these great apes. The trek typically lasts between one and three hours and offers the chance to spot other wildlife, including grey-crowned cranes, black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, L’Hoest's monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys, along with forest birds, butterflies, reptiles, and amphibians. Once your guide identifies the chimps by their calls, you'll spend an hour observing them up close. Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on a scenic 3–4-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, pass through Fort Portal, enjoy views of tea plantations and the Rwenzori Mountains, and stop at the newly renovated Equator monument in Kikorongo. Arrive in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at Irungu Forest Safari resort
After an early breakfast, you'll head out for a game drive in the Kasenyi area of the park. Keep an eye out for both small and large herds of elephants, warthogs, buffaloes, prides of lions, spotted hyenas, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, and a variety of other wildlife. Along the way, you'll pass some of the park's famous crater lakes, which attract migratory birds, particularly flamingos. After your drive, return to the lodge for a delicious hot lunch. In the afternoon, set off on a boat trip along the picturesque Kazinga Channel, where you'll have the chance to see wildlife up close, including giant hippos lounging just a few meters away and Nile crocodiles basking on the banks. The lush shores are teeming with birdlife, featuring pink-backed pelicans, African fish eagles, pied and malachite kingfishers, grey-crowned cranes, and saddle-billed storks, among others. After a day full of adventure, return to Irungu Forest Safari resort for dinner and a restful overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your journey to Bwindi National Park with an exciting game drive through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its unique tree-climbing lions. While lion cubs often climb trees for fun, the adult lionesses here are known to lounge in fig trees, escaping tsetse flies and enjoying the breeze—an excellent opportunity for photography. As you traverse this remote area, take in the stunning landscapes and abundant birdlife. Afterward, exit the park with a stop for lunch along the way before arriving in Bwindi. Check in at Bweza Gorilla Lodge for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.
After a hearty breakfast, your guide will take you to the starting point of your thrilling morning gorilla trek, equipped with your packed lunch. As you journey through the lush jungle, anticipation builds for the unforgettable hour you'll spend observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. It's a truly memorable experience that you'll treasure for a lifetime. After the trek, we'll head to Lake Mburo National Park. Upon arrival, you'll check in at Mburo Safari Lodge, where you can unwind and enjoy a relaxing dinner before settling in for the night.
Wake early and have time to take a delight breakfast before you head for a game drive through the park in search of game like the zebras, hippos, crocodiles, elands, antelopes, impalas and a variety of bird species. After you will return to your lodge for lunch and then head for a 2-hour boat launch on Lake Mburo to see animals like the hippos, crocodiles and various bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Mburo safari lodge.
After breakfast, a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guide will meet you for a briefing before leading you on a guided safari walk. This is a great opportunity for those who want to stretch their legs and experience wildlife on foot. Lake Mburo is the only park in Uganda where you can enjoy a safari walk, offering a unique chance to see the same animals you would spot on a game drive, but this time up close and on foot. After the walk, we’ll check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala, with lunch served along the way.
