Your journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel or Entebbe International Airport by your driver-guide, as you set off for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in southwestern Uganda. This remarkable park is home to nearly half of the world's mountain gorilla population and is uniquely notable for being the only location where chimpanzees coexist with these majestic creatures. On your way, you’ll have a stop at the Equator crossing in Kayabwe, where you can capture stunning photos and witness a fascinating experiment. Afterward, you'll continue to Mbarara town for a delightful lunch. Following lunch, enjoy a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night at the comfortable Bweza Gorilla Lodge.

After an early morning breakfast, you'll pack your lunch and head to the Park Headquarters around 7:45 AM for registration. There, you’ll join fellow trekkers for a briefing on the dos and don’ts of your gorilla tracking safari. Your guides will lead you through the dense undergrowth as you embark on the trek to find the gorillas. This adventure can last anywhere from half an hour to several hours, depending on the gorillas' movements. The forested landscape is rich and thick but features many animal trails that provide access for visitors. The duration of your trek will vary, but the experience of being in close proximity to these magnificent yet endangered creatures is truly unforgettable. As you trek, you may also encounter various primates, birds, and unique tree species. Once you locate the gorillas, you'll have one hour to observe and interact with them before making your way back to the Park Headquarters. Upon your return, you will receive a certificate acknowledging your participation in gorilla trekking and your contribution to the conservation of mountain gorillas. Following this, we will transfer you to Kisoro, where you’ll check in at Kisoro Traveler’s Rest Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will embark on a drive to Mgahinga National Park for a briefing before setting off on your golden monkey trekking adventure. This exciting trek will not only bring you face-to-face with the playful golden monkeys but also allow you to experience the park's diverse attractions. After your trek, you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Kisoro Traveler’s Hotel.

After your breakfast, you will be driven to Kampala or Entebbe for your post tour accommodation or you may choose to fly out of Uganda on this day. You will again have another chance to make a stopover at the Equator crossing in Kayabwe with an enroute lunch on the way.
