After breakfast at your hotel, your driver-guide will pick you up and begin the journey northwest to Uganda's Nakasongola District. After a three-hour drive, you'll reach Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to Uganda’s only wild rhino population. Enjoy an unforgettable experience observing these magnificent animals before continuing your trip. Following a lunch stop in Masindi Town, you'll enter Murchison Falls National Park. Keep an eye out for unique wildlife species as you drive through the park. In the evening, enjoy a game drive to spot more wildlife before checking in at Ikromo Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Start your day with an early morning breakfast before heading out for a game drive. During the drive, you can expect to see Cape buffaloes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, oribis, Topis, warthogs, giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, and waterbucks. If you start early, you may also spot nocturnal species like lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas returning from their nighttime hunts. After 3-4 hours exploring the park, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way, you’ll likely see herds of elephants, Uganda Kobs, and buffaloes on the riverbanks, while Nile crocodiles and hippos bask in the shallow waters. Birdwatchers will also be delighted by sightings of pied kingfishers, African fish eagles, malachite kingfishers, and possibly even the rare shoebill. After this fascinating experience, return to Ikromo Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and head to the top of Murchison Falls to take in the awe-inspiring views of the roaring waterfalls. Afterward, exit the park and enjoy lunch along the way as you make your way to Fort Portal Tourism City. The scenic drive offers stunning views of the Albertine Rift Valley Escarpments and the beautiful countryside. Arrive in Fort Portal in the evening, where you’ll settle in for dinner and an overnight stay at Kalya Courts Hotel.
After breakfast, set off on an adventure to Semliki National Park to explore the captivating Sempaya Hot Springs, where the water reaches over 100°C—perfect for boiling eggs and bananas right in the springs! Later, continue to the Amabeere ga Nyinamwiru Caves, followed by a hike around the picturesque Fort Portal crater lakes. Afterward, we’ll head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, check in at Baboon Safari resort for a relaxing evening, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Keep an eye out for both small and large herds of elephants, warthogs, buffaloes, prides of lions, spotted hyenas, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, and a variety of other wildlife. Along the way, you'll pass some of the park's famous crater lakes, which attract migratory birds, particularly flamingos. After your drive, return to the lodge for a delicious hot lunch. In the afternoon, set off on a boat trip along the picturesque Kazinga Channel, where you'll have the chance to see wildlife up close, including giant hippos lounging just a few meters away and Nile crocodiles basking on the banks. The lush shores are teeming with birdlife, featuring pink-backed pelicans, African fish eagles, pied and malachite kingfishers, grey-crowned cranes, and saddle-billed storks, among others. After a day full of adventure, return to Baboon Safari resort for dinner and a restful overnight stay.
