You will be picked up by our driver guide at either your hotel or Entebbe International Airport, depending on your location, to begin your 3-day Murchison Falls safari. On the way, we’ll stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino trekking experience on foot, giving you the chance to see these majestic creatures up close. We will have lunch along the route before continuing the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at Ikromo Safari Lodge for a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we’ll set out on a game drive where you’ll have the opportunity to spot big cats on the hunt, as well as elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and many more species—there are 76 different mammals to watch for. We’ll explore the game drive circuits, heading to the Delta point where you'll experience a diverse array of birds and mammals. After the game drive, we’ll return for lunch before embarking on a 2-hour boat ride to the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way, you’ll witness hippos in their pods—grooming and yawning like nowhere else—plus Nile crocodiles, elephants, and an array of stunning bird species along the riverbanks. If you’re an avid birdwatcher, this will be a true highlight. Afterward, return to Ikromo Safari Lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

In the morning, we’ll check out and head out for a second game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, offering you a final opportunity to spot big cats and the majestic giraffes. Afterward, we’ll visit the top of Murchison Falls, a spectacular highlight of the safari where you'll witness a powerful surge of water thundering through a narrow gorge at close range. Following this breathtaking experience, we will leave the park and begin our journey back to Kampala, stopping for lunch along the way. Your guide will drop you off as we conclude your 3-day Murchison Falls safari.
